Unwired Pre-paid broadband works with Pre-paid vouchers, where you can buy vouchers online from a range of selected stores. Each voucher entitles you to a number of days of broadband with an associated broadband usage allowance.

If your broadband usage allowance runs out, your broadband service speed will be reduced to 64k/64k for the remainder of the time left on your voucher. To prevent this from happening, you can simply top up your account and make sure vouchers have been set to be used as soon as your broadband usage allowance has run out.

If you buy one of our 7 day Pre-paid broadband vouchers (for example), the 7 days will start from the moment you activate your voucher and run for 7 x 24 hours.

When the time on your voucher runs out, your broadband access will end and you will be directed to our Pre-paid recharge portal. To prevent this from happening, simply top up your account online and put a voucher in your online voucher wallet ready to be used. By remembering to do this, you will automatically rollover to your next voucher when your old one runs out. You can top up online by going to www.unwired.com.au/myaccount/topup.php. If you do run out and are sent to the Pre-paid recharge portal, you can quickly and easily restart your service by purchasing a voucher from there.

Unwired Pre-paid Modems cannot be used to connect to any of Unwired's other plans or vice versa.

To make sure your broadband service doesn't run out, you should make sure that you have a spare voucher ready in your online voucher wallet. It's easy to top up online by going to www.unwired.com.au/myaccount/topup.php.

Unwired offers both Pre-paid services and monthly plans. With Unwired's other plan options, your credit card or bank account is charged on a monthly basis (www.unwired.com.au/unwired/modem_plans.php). However, Unwired Pre-paid works on a voucher system (www.unwired.com.au/unwired/prepaid_plans.php).

Unwired's Pre-paid service offers great broadband speeds. If you use up all ofy our broadband allowance on your voucher, your speed will be reduced to 64k/64k.

There is no need to cancel your Unwired Pre-paid broadband account. When your last voucher runs out, your service will automatically be de-activated.

Unwired includes one email address with every Pre-paid account. This email account will only be accessible while your account has an active voucher. If your voucher runs out and you do not recharge, access to your email address will be restricted. During the ten day restriction period, your email account will still be able to receive messages but you will not be able to log in. If you account is not recharged within ten days, your email account will be closed and any emails you have in your email box will be lost.

Your Unwired Pre-paid account will remain open as long as you have either an active voucher or vouchers in your voucher wallet. If you do not recharge your account for six months, your account will be closed and you will need to select a new username and password to re-open your Unwired Pre-paid service. You will also lose your Unwired Pre-paid email address if your account is closed.
